Famous engraver Czeslaw Slania's Battle at Grunwald. Signed, 369/500. Framed. For some of you avid Slania fans, you might have bought frommy father here on Ebay a few years ago. He went to the stamp expo in the earl 2000’s and met Mr. Slania and became one of his biggest fans. He bought Mr. Slania’s stamps and then sent them to him, via his Assistant Hans, to be signed. My dad would wait by the mailbox every day waiting for his signed stamps. He got such a kick out of the fact that Mr. Slania would sign his stamps. He sent stamps to Mr. Slania right up to his death in 2005. In 2008, my dad started selling some of his Slania collection on Ebay. We sold signed Slania stamps up until my dad passed away in late 2010. I am now liquidating some of the pieces in my father’s collection. Some of the pictures didn't come out as good as I would have liked. There are shadows due to the flash. If you contact me and want more pics, please feel free.
