Offered here is "Micah," a well-quaffed young fellow with a dark bowtie created by artist Karen Germany. Karen is particularly well-known for creating dolls that realistically reflect the fascinating variety inherent in People of Color. Micah is one of many highly-desirable Daddy's Long Legs collectable dolls with Karen Germany's characteristic "boneless" arms and legs, and realistic faces, hands, and feet. Karen made the originals in clay, then, cast them in wood filler which was then hand-painted. Micah appears to be related to the similarly-dressed adult "Charles Louis," and I suspect the two are either father and son, or, grandfather and grandson. Micah is about thirteen-inches long. Note the tiny gold star on the right side of his high-waist slacks. Such stars are one of Karen Germany's trademarks. According to the pasted-on label on the box, his identification number is DL32A. I will ship him in his original box along with attached tag and Certificate of Authenticity. The box protected Micah from harm for many years. He hasn't got any flaws, chips, or scratches. I will wrap the box in heavy-duty Kraft paper. Note that Micah is personally signed by Karen Germany and also has an incised mark on his leg.The chair shown is not included.
