R. John Wright' s DAFFY DOWN DILLY Mouse - is the first piece in a new series based on the Mother Goose Nursery rhymes. It was presented at a special ticketed breakfast at the 1st Annual R. John Wright Convention held this spring in Albany, New York. It is number 90 out of 150. Daffy Down Dilly is an adorable little mohair 3" mouse wearing an authentic period costume based on the original English nursery rhyme of a yellow silk petticoat and a green gown. The dress is adorned with silk bows and seed pearl buttons. She is wearing a straw bonnet made out of Swiss straw braid with a blue silk bow and wearing tiny high heels.
