A lovely quarter-plate daguerreotype photo of a young woman, wearing a plaid dress white lace collar and jewelry incl wedding ring. She has a pleasing countenance, w tinted cheeks. Approx 3.5 x 2.7", w gilt mat, floral decorated leatherette case. Image is VG, case shows wear and hinge repaired. This image came from an East Central Connecticut estate.
