DAHL JENSEN FIGURINE Please - free eBay hosting This beautiful dog is by the renowned sculptor Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen. He worked for the Royal Copenhagen factory and Bing & Grondahl before acquiring a factory of his own in 1925. He sculpted 280 of the 400 different figurines produced at the DJ factory, working there until he died in 1960. The factory closed in 1985. Each piece of porcelain is handmade and decorated by skilled artists using pigments of blue, green, red and brown, enriched with gold, which once fired only show their wonderful colours. They are truly some of the best figures to come out of Denmark.
