DAKANPA WHEAT FLOUR SACK, PA. MAUSER MILL CO FEED SACK T ARE TWO VINTAGE SACKS OFFERED IN THIS AUCTION 's a flour sack from Mauser Mill Company, Triechlers, Pa- Laurys Pa. It's a 98 pounder, but has the bottom end shortened. I purchased it like this. Someone hemmed all the raw edges for some reason. It shows no use of any kind though. Perhaps they did this just to wash it without fraying. The edges were rolled over and stitched. It measures 36" wide by 27" long, opened. Check out this wonderful heavy duty cement sack. I love this kind since they make the best primitive backings for pillows and other folkcraft creations. This one's a 94 pound sack, measuring 28" long by 32" wide. It's clean and 100% healthy without any stains, holes, tears, or flaws. As you can see it even has a stonewashed appearance. Reads: "The Atlas Portland Cement Co. Non staining WHITE ATLAS Portland Cement, Trade Mark, New York, NY. The bag was made by the Atlas bag Factory. Please check my other auctions since I have other feed, flour, seed sacks listed.
