These two books are in excellent condition. Dale Messick was the master behind Brenda Starr comic strip. These two books salute that comic strip. There is a letter from Shez Dorf, an artist who was editor of these two books. There are extra prints included with this item as well as 6 cards and five stationery cards that would be used in sequence as they tell a story. Book #4 gives credit to Emma Terry for providing the designs from her collection. This is a treasure trove for Dale Messick fans or Brenda Starr fans. From the collection of the late Emma Terry who was editor of Paper Doll News.
