Damale Turquoise The Damale mine is a small, tightly run operation, located thirty miles from Austin, Nevada. The mine is located on The Dry Creek Ranch owned by the Damale family. There, they raise unique horses that carry the Damale name. Benny Damele discovered the mine sometime around 1973.
