Up for auction is Christmas in New York City made by the Danbury Mint company & long retired. This item has been in my family for at least 12 years that I'm sure of but not sure if the Danbury Mint Co. made this about 15 years ago. It's long retired. It's very colorful in lots of detail with red & green reefs on bldgs, yellow cabs, etc but for some reason my digital camera was acting up & some of the pics seem to almost look B&W which is not capturing the true colors of the items. In dusting it off & taking out of storage it appears to still be in good condition with a few little niks on the wood base bottom. I didn't notice any pieces broke or missing but I added enough pics for viewer & selling the item as pre owned just as you see it. No longer has original box. It's approx 11" wide by 12 1/2" long and about 10 1/2" tall to tip of Empire state building. It's a little on the heavy side & made very well of red wood base, very detailed & some of the items or sites it offers are: New York City's landmark structures decorated for Christmas The Famous Empire State Building Rockefeller Center St. Patrick's Cathedral The Chrysler Building The United Nations The Flatiron Building The Plaza Hotel Washington Square Arch The old yellow cabs Apartment Houses & stores on the Streets Horse & Carriage Lamp Post, bus, cars, Decorated read more
