This bowie & sheath was bought to put by the fireplace of my new log cabin,but it never got built,so I am listing it.It would look great by a fireplace and maybe with a powder horn by it which I am going to list apowder horn on my other auctions.14" long o/a with an 8-3/8" stainless blade.This is an exact replica of the original bowie carried by D.Boone that was passed on down through the years to his decendants. The Boone family agreed to the manufacturing of his bowie.The box has a photo of the actual bowie that he carried.The handle is wood and the guard has his initials he carved on the original bowie he carried.The quality fringed leather sheath also has his initials,DB.The sheath would cost $50.00 at least to have made! T will be NO RESERVE on this auction.Your friends and family will love this knife to use or display as a conversation piece.Checkout a powderhorn for this when I get it listed as well as my INDIAN HUNTING knife with a beautiful beaded fringed sheath too!
