Up for sale today is an absolutely beautiful figurine made for the National Historical Society by the Franklin Mint in honor of DANIEL BOONE . This figurine has great detail (of both Boone and his dog) and is made of fine pewter. The bottom of the figurine is stamped: "DANIEL BOONE 1734-1820 FINE PEWTER 81 NHS". It stands at 2-1/4" tall and has a matte finish. I believe that this figurine was made in 1981. It is part of a larger set of figurines of important people in American history. Check out my other auctions for more figurines from this terrific set. This mini statue would be a welcome addition to any collection or a great gift for anyone that admires this legendary patriot.
