Housed in a non-PVC "flip" holder with certificate. Final mintage (of all issues combined): 382. The last 38 struck have a large die crack across Buffalo on reverse. The US Mint produced Indian Head Bison nickels from 1913 to 1938. However, no nickels were minted or dated 1933. These are over-struck on genuine Indian Head Bison nickels, (no metal is added or removed). They have the correct metallic content (no heating or melting is performed), and correct diameter. All the over-strikes are privately and painstakingly performed using a surplus Denver Mint coin press !NOTE: Defacing of US coins is legal so long as the defacement isn't for fraudulent purposes.By purchasing one or more of these coins, the buyer agrees to provide full disclosure of their origin when reselling them.
