This is a poignant piece of fine folk art imported from Mexico City, where it was made by one of the members of the master Vilchis retablero family, Daniel. It is a painting on tin, as is traditional, featuring a man undergoing heart surgery in an operating room as a skeleton of death hides in wait. There is an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe above the scene and the writing thanks her for making the surgery a success and saving the man's life. This work is signed by Daniel and measures approximately 12" in width by 10" in height. Priority Mail shipping(with Delivery Confirmation) will be $10.00. PayPal and checks accepted and all auctions are unconditionally guaranteed. Thank you!
