Foster McDavid Dinning Table & Chairs From Smoke Free Home The Table was called Intaglio design it is solid walnut. 48" Octagon with 3 leaves with drop down support legs for use when more then one leaf in the table. The slides are made by the Walter of Wabash Co. who is the leading builder of geared slides. The protective finish used on the Table is Kemvar-M made by Sherman Williams Co. It was one of the first spillproof finishes made and in fact I think Sherman Williams still makes it today. It is a catalised varnish and was spill proof. One more thing, This table was designed by a man named Herb Sager who was a well known industrial designer who among other things designed a number of appliances for Hobert which was better known as Kitchen-Aid. Walnut Octagon 48" Table with 3 ~ 15 3/4" leaf that total 95 1/4" in length. When you open the table to add the leafs extra legs swing down to support the tables length.
