Danish Modern Long TEAK Coffee Table Eames Era 1960s One of the most simple and effective Danish designs... solid slab of teak supported by structural tapered legs. Such beautiful older teak in a very rich coloration. Big and tall, this is meant to be noticed. Teak through and through with finely made details... banded edges with sculpted sides are finger joined at the corners (!), solid teak legs and crossbars. Stable and sturdy. Vintage piece which we would estimate to be from the early 1960s or so. Danish origin however t is no makers mark. This is a taller piece that could easily be a sofa console table but was made to be a coffee table as the Danish preferred a higher stance. Some shorten these for the American market but this is the original model. Measures 58-1/2" long, 21" high, 20" wide. Condition is outstanding. T are just a few small nicks and scratches on the top that are hardly visible. We have pointed out the visible ones. To note - We did oil this and it's got a great finish but t are some areas that are duller which you will see when the light is just right. We think the original owner never kept up the oil so give it some love with teak oil in the future. We also note that the legs originally were designed to be removable for shipping however someone along the way glued them in so it will be shipping in a very large box. Pick up is welcome. This is a beautiful table of excellent quality! Shipping - We can offer the following choices -1. Greyhound Bus Package Express which is 58.00 total to the East Coast or less within the US ( you pick up at the station when it arrives). USA only. They offer insurance up to 300.00 of value. 2. Fedex ground is 94.00 to the East Coast or less if you live closer. This will be a very large box due to padding.3. Pick up is welcome, we are near downtown Los Angeles.
