In an architectural Art Deco style with central raised band to gently tapered handle, oblong bowl, marked to underside, no monogram.12 1/2 in.8.055 troy oz.Hans Hansen (1884-1940) opened a goldsmith shop and smithy in Kolding, Denmark about 1906. Before opening his own shop, Hansen trained in the workshops of Georg Jensen. Hansen quickly gained a reputation for his innovative designs and high quality craftsmanship. In 1925, his designs were awarded a gold medal at the 1925 World Exposition in Paris. His son, Karl Gustav Hansen, continued the business after his father's death until the company merged with Georg Jensen in 1992.Scattered surface scratching.
