What a sweet old soul. I obtained this cotton and straw stuffed bear from an family estate sale. He dates somewhere between 1920 -1940's based on the the range of items in the home. He could be earlier but not much later. He has all the characteristics of an American made bear. No markings or tags so I am sure the experts out there can tell a lot more about him than I can. I just thought he was great. Very very little mohair loss glass eyes jointed at the neck shoulders and hips minor age wear and soil on paw pads. NO Major issues. He is a substantial 21" tall when fully outstretched. The straw or excelsior stuffing has diminished some so he is not super firm the cotton in him keeps hi at a nice firmness still He displays beautifully full of old plaything charm...FREE SHIPPING IN USA
