Antique canning jar that is a quart in a beautiful dark aqua color. Original and nice condition.Early Hemingray lid,with metal neck band, wire bail, and cast iron thumb lock lever clamp. Lid is nicely embossed,PATENTED MAY 25 1886.Front of jar nicely embossed: GLOBE. Large #62 on base. Some rust and discoloration on metal closure and neck. band. Original, solid and works perfectly for closing and tightening lid into jar. Would make a nice addition to a early glass, kitchen or country store collection. Thanks for looking!
