Large Gemmy Dark Green Dioptase crystals on Red Dolomite and White Calcite from Tsumeb Very large specimen from Tsumeb. Gemmy dark green Dioptase crystals with glassy luster dots this specimen. Most of the Dioptase are on a red Dolomite matrix. There is an area of white translucent Calcite with smaller Dioptase crystals. Size is 5" x 2.75" x 2.5". Condition: Very good with very minor edge wear if any on Dioptase. Comes with a clear 1" high Plexiglas display base with label. Key Point: Colorful and large. Origin: Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region (Oshikoto), Namibia. For any collector of Tsumeb minerals, this is a very colorful specimen.
