You are bidding on an authentic theatrical exhibition press kit for the movie My Darling Clementine. This is a western that came out in 1946 that starred Henry Fonda, Linda Darnell, Victor Mature, Cathy Downs, and Walter Brennan. This kit was sent to theaters only for the theater owner to use to promote the film's original release in that movie house. These kits usually include sample copies of press releases, articles about the film, clip art advertisements, and ordering information for posters, lobby cards, and other advertising items. The kit is 20 pages, sized 11x16 inches, and has not been used in any way. This press kit will be mailed flat. I have recently obtained a giant collection of press kits from a retired newspaper film critic that reviewed literally thousands of films from 1977 to 2009. Unlike most press kits online where many items are missing, this person chronicled his collection like a librarian and took great care of the paper's archives. These press kits listed are in good shape and are about as nice as I have ever seen; some of the pictures will have black or red grease pencil on them to mark where pictures were supposed to be cropped by the newspaper layout artists, but it wipes off easily with a tissue and are not considered defects. For those who want additional details: I work three jobs and just can not provide individual scans, numbers on pictures, scans of press kit information, and so on which means you will have to make decisions based on the information provided. All kits are as is and cash refunds will not be issued unless I have obviously misrepresented the kit; credit toward future auctions is always available. I will be listing 30-50 kits every week with auctions ending on Monday evenings so make sure to bookmark these auctions. No checks please; if by chance you do send a check we will hold your order for 14 days until the check clears. All auctions must be paid for within seven days of the end of the auction or we must be contacted as to the status of the payment, especially if you are mailing your payment. If the bidder has not paid within 14 days Rivertown Entertainment will submit a non-paying notice to eBay. If the auction is not paid for within three weeks we will add you to our blocked bidder list and you will not be able to bid on any Rivertown Entertainment items in the future. Shipping: All press kits will be shipped Priority Mail in the United States. The shipping cost will be $6.25 for the first press kit and $3.00 for each additional press kit. All packages will have a tracking number to ensure delivery. Postage will be $8.00 to Canada/Mexico and $14 everywhere else in the world for each press kit. Foreign buyers please note: please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery as I am discovering that many packages are being held up in customs until duties on the package are paid. Returns: If you feel that we graded something wrong please contact us and send us some pictures of the item in question and we can discuss returning the item for credit toward another item.
