This wonderful vintage compact looks Art Deco to me. It is appx 2" in diameter and is marked Evans on the inside. As you can see, there is still some powder and the blush looks like it has barely been used. The top is a pale yellow enamel with silvertone flowers decorating the outer edge. I did not try to clean the enamel, so I am not sure how much of the marks on the surface are dirt and how much of it is actually scratches. The silvertone mesh has let go in a couple of places (see pictures) but that doesn't detract from the sweetness of this item...and possibly can be re-hooked by someone who knows what they are doing. Nice addition to any collection!
