This is a stunning piece of work from Alan White, Master Potter of Dartington Pottery in Devon. In the famous Peacock design, it is signed on the base with his initials and the Dartington logo, You will see I have had 3 green baize pads on the base as it has been in a special display cupboard from new. These can be removed easily should you wish. It stands 10 inches high and about 7 inches across the widest part. Alan White joined Dartington Pottery in 2002 as Works Director. 36 years before he started training at Poole Pottery under the legendary Guy Sydenham, working on the innovative Delphis range. He progressed to Master Potter at Poole and attained international acclaim with his inspirational work. His adventure into reduction-fired stoneware, utilising the outstanding glaze research of Stephen Course, is producing collectable items of incredible desirability. Any questions please do contact me.
