Darwin Water Lily Mug Historic Pattern Collection. Bone China. Inscribed with: Historic Pattern Collection, John Wedgwood, eldest son of Josiah I, was a co-founder of the Royal Horticultural Society. It is believed that his love of botany inspired him to create this pattern for his sister Susannah Darwin, the mother of the celebrated evolutionist Charles Darwin. Made in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
