ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and CRAZY!!! Dated Feb 21, 1912 as best I can tell from the falling-apart hand-embroidered date (see photo); the 2 in 1912 looks like a 9 at first glance but if you look closely you'll see a botton horizontal stitch that makes it a 2. Comes from an old rural estate in Washington. Lots of different fabrics; silks, velvets, wools, linens ... quite distressed in many areas, some pieces completed disintegrated (mostly the silks); each and every one expertly overstitiched, and somehow held together, with a great variety of embroidery patterns that adds tons of charm. The back fabric is cotton I believe and plaid. Tied about every 4" with varied colored yarns, some missing; the edges are worn and tattered in places, small tears and holes throughout, but it's still in one piece! One major mangled hole, cotton batting coming out (photo), split measures about 15" on back. IT'S A BEAUTY!! Measures about 74x82. Pretty clean considering, although not freshly laundered, and smoke-free. I'm happy to answer any questions. I do my best to find and reveal all flaws. Buyer pays USPS Priority Mail ~ I'm happy to ship Parcel Post if you don't mind the long wait, just let me know. Happy to combine shipping.
