Datolite nodule, Centennial Mine, Calumet, Houghton County, Michigan This is a tremendous polished datolite nodule from the classic copper-bearing location. The nodule has had the cut surface polished revealing a fantastic depth of colour with a slight paler zoning towards the edges. The specimen is around 4cms by 3 cms in size and about 1cm thick.
