zipzoom Datolite¸ Drusy Quartz & Gemmy Calcite - Location: Charcas¸ San Luis Potosi¸ Mexico. Cabinet (see photo for more details). Here we have a very aesthetic specimen of light pale green to yellowish-green colored datolite crystals coated with drusy quartz along with some gemmy colorless calcite crystals from Mexico. The datolite crystals are well-formed and sharp and have a nice light translucent green to yellowish-green color. The datolite crystals are basically completely coated with a very thin layer of bright sparkly drusy quartz.
