Hand painted first day cover fdc for the 1000th Anniversary of the Discovery and Settlement of the New World by Two Sons of Iceland Leifur Eiriksson & Porfinnur Karlsefni, and in perfect condition. Limited edition of only 10 made and this cover is #3, and long ago sold out. These covers rarely come up for sale. The stamp is canceled on the first day of issue March 16th 2000. Postage and shipping will be free for the U.S. and all other countries will be $5.00 insured.
