DAVIDANDERSEN, 6 Vintage Solid Silver, Gold & Enamel Coffee Spoons, 80.6 gr. Beautiful vintage set of six solid silver and gold plated spoons by David Andersen. They have slightly wider, teardrop shaped bowls and may also be ice cream spoons. Delicate handles, with guilloche enamel in six striking colours – lime green, plum, buttercup yellow, turquoise, royal blue and jade green, topped by tiny finials. The spoon backs have a gorgeous pearl decoration, which enhances the coloured enamel very well. Three of the spoons (the two green and the royal blue one) have small chips to the enamel (see photo 12) and it seems that the plum coloured and royal blue ones have been used the most, as they are not quite as shiny as the others. Despite these small flaws, a very attractive set - these would grace any dining table or cabinet, be a perfect gift and certainly a very fine addition to a collection! Size: 11 x 2.5 Hallmarked: 925 S, anvil symbol Total Weight: 80.6 gr. Condition: used, with slight damage to enamel, as mentioned above. Please see photos for details.
