David Armstrong 1947-1998. MOUNTAIN DOGWOOD is a very popular print published way way back in 1987 by Mill Pond Press out of Venice , FL. That makes it 22 years old. Wow ! It is a wonderful painting. A great addition to your David Armstrong collection. David said the he grew up exploring the hills and fields of his father's sheep farm and that is w he got the idea for this painting. David says " I grew up exploring the hills and fields of my father's sheep farm " , " Our farm stretched up against Skiff Mountain w I spent many a Saturday exploring. The top of the mountain was crisscrossed with old stone walls that devided once fertile meadows. Now those fields are grown up with white pine, paper birch and wild dogwood. " This print is numbered 595 out of a total edition size of only 950. It is in MINT Condiditon. The Certificate of Authenticity is attached on the front of the Envelope which comes with the print. This is a print personally SIGNED by David in graphite under the image. Image size is 20 1/2 x 27 3/4 and the overall paper size is 24 1/4 x 31 1/4 . A very nice size .
