Offered here for your serious consideration is: David Armstrong Limited Edition Print titled "RED MAPLE" Gallery Mint Condition This glorious print is signed and numbered 610 / 950 by David Armstrong, in his ownhand. David Armstrong is one of America’s most beloved and admired watercolor painters. David died after a prolonged battle with cancer in 1998, at a tragically young age. It has been devastating to art lovers all around the world, to lose such an incredibly talented artist, with what would have been an enormous number of great works not yet committed to canvas or paper. Fortunately, David possessed a very deep-rooted “work ethic” that drove him to produce an incredibly impressive body of unforgettable paintings in his all too few years on this earth. We are even more fortunate to find that many of his greatest paintings have been issued as limited edition prints. His art prints are known for their unsurpassed quality and collectability. These are treasured by art collectors from every corner of the world. Armstrong’s work portrayed the artist’s mood of “quiet stillness and discovery of something timeless come together” This print is in Gallery “MINT” condition. It has always been properly stored flat in the original publisher’s sleeve, covered with a velum sheet, inside of a sturdy shipping box. It has been protected from light and has not been handled. It has never been framed! The original "Certificate of Authenticity" is included to verify that this is a genuine, hand-signed limited edition Armstrong print. The pristine print offered here is serial number of 610 out of a limited edition issue of 950 pieces. This is a completely “SOLD OUT” print and is certain to continue to dramatically increase in value over the years. SOLD OUT prints are only available through the "secondary market", from private collections. Some SOLD OUT prints are very rarely available for sale at all. The paper and the image are absolutely perfect, with no damage or signs of aging what-so-ever. This lithographic print is from an original watercolor painting, published in 1997. The print measures 20.75" x 33.25" with image dimensions of 15.5" x 28.5" . Please, look carefully at my photos. They are all of the actual painting listed here, and were just taken for this auction. I included a shot of the “Certificate Of Authenticity” and one of the North Mountain Press publisher’s label on the cover of the protective envelope. The winner of this auction is welcome to arrange to pick the print up or to have it shipped to any confirmed address within the 48 continental US States. If shipping is requested, it will be sturdily packed and shipped via UPS, fully insured. The total shipping charge will include all professional packing fees. I would gladly to give a shipping discount for multiple items sent together to one location. Every possible precaution will be taken to insure that the winner of this rare and valuable work of art will receive it in the same flawless condition that it is in now. This is a real “Collector’s Item” but it would be a terrible shame if it wasn’t enjoyed for it’s charming beauty.
