DAVID BOWIE100% ORIGINAL 1974 "DIAMOND DOGS" ALBUM PROMOTIONAL POSTERRARE CENSORED DOG ARTWORKCONDITION: Never used. This is in absolutely great condition. There is only a very tiny amount of wear on this poster. This poster sat rolled in a tube for decades. There is an incredibly small tear near the "R" in the image. You really need to look to see it. There is some very minor wear near the edge. If this were to be framed , this wouldn't even be visible. This rare poster is in excellent condition. Please see the photos for the best idea.I obtained this poster from Leee Black Childers before he passed away. This is 100% original and not a reproduction. Leee was David Bowie's tour manager in the early 1970's and dealt directly with Mainman/RCA, the label that printed these. These were never for sale and were sent to record stores to promote the album. Most were used and then disposed of or were damaged in the display process. The right hand corner states: Art by Peelaert, the Mainmain logo, and Printed in the USA, etc.Artwork by Guy Peelaert. The original image intended for this album showed the dog's genitalia but was soon changed. This poster represents a unique image in this process of the artwork being changed.
