Stunning art piece by David Kuo -- signed on the inside. Internet research says that this piece sold in Neiman Marcus back in the day. Quick internet search also yielded this research:Kuo contemporary "CHAMPLEVE" is a process which David learned from his father, the renowned artist, Kuo Ming Chiao. The Kuo family has taken this ancient process, refining and modernizing the technique to create their own distinctive designs and colors. Because of all the intangibles involved in the process, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. The Kuo have created Art Deco bracelets, earrings and clasped necklaces and developed an "all season jewelry". in the art creations, to from a select line of unique jewelry.
