Hello, I'm back to listing 'Buddy' Alan Basinet's marble collection. As you may recall I was selling off Alan's collection of Contemporary Art Glass marbles after his passing to support his parents. In November of 2014, Alan's father passed away. His mother passed in 2013. I decided to take some time off from selling. Then my work schedule got changed around. Finally it's approaching something like normal. You'll notice some differences in the auctions. I'll be selling more lots instead of individual marbles. All proceeds, minus a commission, will go to local pet rescues per Alan's final wishes. As before I will not accept returns BUT you can be assured that I will picture and describe any issues with any item that might impact the auction value. With that being said lets get started. ' This auction features a marble that was made as a prototype for Pirates of the Caribbean 2. The story as it was related to me is that Alan was contacted by the producers of PoC2 about having a glass eye in one of the scenes of the movie. Alan contacted David Salazar who made a set of 5 or 6 I believe. The producers didn't like aesthetics and decided against using the marbles. Alan only had 2 left, I'm not sure what happened to the rest. This is the last one to offer. Anyway the marble is MINT and signed 'D?S 10/05'. Includes a plastic stand. Enjoy!!All
