The original poster artwork designed by David Singer for the Joe Cocker and Van Morrison April 1970 concert. The poster, identified as BG-229, is for Bill Graham's Fillmore West stop on Cocker and Morrison's Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour. Mixed media on canvas board with photomontage affixed to board. Signed twice by Singer. Multiple layers of imagery include a nude woman, Mount Rushmore, and animals including a hummingbird, cat, hatching egg and gorillas. Accompanied by a Singer signature with portrait caricature, ink on board. Both of the pieces were framed by fellow artist Alton Kelley.
