This is a striking example of pottery from the middle third of the last century. This vase depicts a mother and child, quite possibly Mary and Jesus, and is very stylized in the manner of Danish works of that era. The vase stands 9 1/2" tall and has no damage of any kind. It is not marked as to origin or manufacturer, but it appears to be very similar to works by David Stewart. No reserve ever!
