Fagin's Hideout David Winter creates masterpieces that are produced from his original and then hand-painted. They are imported from the UK. David Winter turned to Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens for inspiration in his Christmas Collection from 1997-2002*. Full of memorable characters, he interprets several houses that Oliver visited. One of these is Fagin's Hideout. After running away from the workhouse, Oliver meets Jack Dawkins, "the Artful Dodger" who takes him to a gentleman's house where he can stay "witout paying rent". In Fagin's hideout boys can stay but earn their keep on the streets of London.Full of nooks, cranies and secret doors, this house was the Christmas Cottage for 2002. It measures 4.88in. x 3in. x 7.75in. *Houses inspired from Oliver Twist include: Mr. Bumble’s (’97) Mr. Fang, the Magistrate(’98), Bill and Nancy’s (’99), The Bottle and Glass (’00), Mr. Brownlow’s (’01), Fagin’s Hideout (’02). From the estate of a David Winter enthu siast, all cottages for sale were kept in dust-free and smoke free glass cases. It is in mint condition, in the original box with certificate of authenticity.
