David Winter Cottages Rochester Castle ~ Carnival Edition VERY RARE Mint Condition ~ Signed by David Winter Rare 1996 Carnival Edition Hand Numbered 0917 of 1000 John Hine #1029 Special Carnival Edition Issued 1996 Rochester Castle is 8.25" tall, 6" wide and 5.5" deep. This Special Carnival Edition is limited to 1,000 pieces. This is number 917 of 1,000 . This Special Edition was available ONLY to those individuals who attended David Winter's Carnivals in England. This Carnival Edition is a rare modification of the Rochester Castle and has the added feature of snow, not seen on the production edition. Rochester Castle is a real castle located in Kent on the River Medway between London and Dover. Both medieval castle and the cathedral have a long, rich history and have resisted seige for more than 900 years. I am offering for sale a private collection of approximately 250 David Winter Cottages collected over a twenty year period between 1980 and around 2000. Each item was purchased new from local authorized dealers or by mail order from throughout the country. I am selling this collection for a member of my family. Each item was in this collection was purchased new and a select few were displayed in enclosed glass display cases, essentially in a dust-free temperature and humidity controlled environment, and were never handled
