RARE SLAG COLOR and seldom seen for sale in the USA! Guaranteed OLD, here is a gorgeous Turquoise or Sky Blue Slag (Malachite) Open Compote or Candy Dish (English) made in the 1880's or 1890's. Could also serve as a Rose Bowl or low Vase for Spring or Silk flowers! Pieces like this are normally attributed to Davidson, Sowerby, or Greener glass companies. The Dish displays and serves well as an Open Candy Dish or display item. It boasts a complex & intricate Basketweave pattern. The Comport weighs about 14 ounces without box & packing materials. I originally chose this Compote for my Slag collection because of superior Slag Glass mix and swirling patterns. The Compote is being read more
