is a very nice watercolor of Stephen Decatur High School in Decatur, IL as it would have looked in 1923. The building, of course, was torn down a number of years ago. This piece is "individually rendered in Grumbacher Academy Watercolors over lithographed penline." It has beautiful colors and the automobiles are wonderful, as are the period clothing worn by the people shown in the painting. It was produced in "studios near Ringoes, NJ, i n limited quantities," according to information printed on the back of the piece. It is from Gray's Watercolors from College Watercolor Group. It is matted. I have framed it in an antique oak frame with a wood outer border. The outer border is somewhat rustic. The size of the painting is 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" and the dimensions of the frame are 13 1/2" x 15 1/2."
