This Davis & kidder's Patent Magneto-electric machine was manufactured and sold by W.H. Burnap New York. The unit needs some work, but still will be a nice addition to your collection. The box lid needs to be reglued to the frame. As you can see in the photos the lid with lable is detached from the rest of the box. The box and lid hinges are solid. The lock is still in place, but t is no key. The original paddles are missing and have been replaced with a hand made wood block. This two part block has a metal core, and is held together by two screws designed to be used to attach the wires from the unit. The crank turns freely, but the belt used to drive the two headed coil is missing. The crank handle appears to be carved ivory. The box is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" by 10". Buyer pays 9.50 for priority postage with confirmation. Thanks for looking.
