Here is an Extremely nice example of this Dayton Army truck pull toy. This toy was part of the Donald Kaufman Collection that was sold at Bertoia Toy Auction. This toy was lot 2822. This toy is also photographed in the Book "The History of Dayton Ohio Toy Makers, by William C. Gallagher with Dr. Richard C. Cummings" (Pg. 97).This toy is in very good original condition with some minor paint wear mainly in the bed and on the wheels. The truck rolls smoothly when pushed and is very straight when sitting on the shelf. The toys still retains its Bertoia auction hang tag. It probably had a canvas top for the bed (now missing). All in all if you are looking for a great quality piece to add to the collection then this is the toy for you.20" longPlease use the pictures as the main part of my description.
