DAZZLING Vintage 1890's Turkey Red & White Burgoyne Surrounded Antique Quilt!This OUTSTANDING cotton 1890's turkey red and white burgoyne surrounded quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a sawtooth border. The postage stamp/square pieces measure a mere 3/4" per side.It measures a generous 86" X 86" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.There are double straight line and diamond designs quilted throughout at an even 9-10 stitches to the inch.The back and hand stitched, rolled binding are white, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.The EYE CATCHING PATTERN, UNUSUAL BORDER, SMALL SCALE, and LUSH QUILTING make this vintage turn of the century CLASSIC stand out!See 500+ MORE antique quilts in my eBay Store!
