This is a complete Officer's uniform for the East German border troops, or the Grenztruppen Der DDR. The uniform is in great condition and features the jacket, cap, and trousers. The Grenztruppen were the East German border security during the division of the country form 1945 - 1990 and were responsible for patrolling and guarding the Berlin Wall.
