Burgess MuseumOffering a Pairpoint Cup Plate, produced in 1979, Deacon Eldred House, Hidden Fireplace design,Amber color with six sides 48 scallop rim. Description of this plate in the 1981 guide -"Pairpoint's First Fifty Plates" reads:"The Deacon Eldred House, Sandwich is the home of Thornton Burgess Museum. This special edition cup plate features "The Hidden Fireplace", found in the house during renovation work in the winter of 1978. Proceeds went to the completion of the restoration of the fireplace." On a window sill, these cup plates capture the sun beautifully, further enhancing the intricate designs & color.
