Rare opportunity to own one of the greatest styles of insulators in our hobby - in Dead Mint condition! You know that many of these had to have sustained at least a little damage just getting boxed up and delivered to the utility. Then there was always the chance of damage when getting installed, years of rough service and then being taken down. The percentage to have survived all that in Mint condtion had to be tiny. The unembossed lower sleeve has a smooth base and some nice bubbles. The top piece has round drip points and is skirt embossed - "HEMINGRAY // PATENT MAY 2nd 1893" and if being Mint isn't unique enough - it has some nice Milk flowing thru the saddle groove and out the end of one ear!! This foot tall stack of glass is heavy and needs to ship by itself to get to your collection the same condition it has been in now for likkely over 100 years!Twelve inch ruler leaned on display case for reference.
