This listing is for 4 Dean Marshall titles: SPECIAL COLLECTOR EDITIONS(Clara) Dean Marshall was a well respected author with favorable reviews in N.Y. and Boston papers and also in the Literary Guild, She was avid nature lover who lived in a rustic log cabin on Lake Basile in Granby CT.She slept in a screen porch 12 months of the year so she could observe nature, her cabin was often co-habited with wild life. She also was the Children's librian where she encouraged children to read and illustrate. In addition to her listed books she edited " Granby is a wonderful Place to Live" written by the children telling short clips on Granby features.She was a be-loved person in town. Her books, many printings were sold to schools and libraries,Across the country, unfortunately most were discarded as is so often the case. her original books are rare , expensive, and hard to find.The listed titles were all set around the log cabin on lake Basile in Granby where the stories centered on Nature and adventure.As a Granby resident, her legacy need to be preserved and I reprinted all her books and sold to local Historic societies and libraries. see below;1)A Long White Month- How Granby was in the middle of a long winter in the early 1940's2) A three book series " Invisible Island Series" The adventures of both boys and girls in exploringthe area. read more
