For bid is an original CHRISTMAS 1911 "Good Cheer Dinner" souvenir MENU from a December 23 dinner tendered in honor of the James H. Barry's Associates of The Star Press." This was a group committed to eradicating CORRUPTION from politics and the judiciary in San Francisco and around the country. Dinner was held at the "Old Poodle Dog" restaurant and cafe in late 1911. There are color lithograph embossed holly, bells and a red ribbon on the front cover. Food and drink items listed inside. Poodle Dog was a LEGENDARY restaurant in SF, California. This is a really nice menu in very good, used condition.
