DEC PDP Rack BannerUp for auction is a a DEC Rack Banner. This Banner fits on the top of an 19 inch rack. This banner is for an auxiliary rack as it has only colors and no text. The colors as portrayed are normally associated with the PDP-11, the PDP-8 line had a different color scheme. This is the plastic piece only. It is intact with no splits or breaks in the plastic. The colors have faded a bit (it is over 40 years old) and the paint over the plastic around the edges have chipped in a small area. The plastic can be repainted.NEW>> I've added two new (old) plastic pieces, a DEC PDP style rack cover,( cover that covers an empty rack space) and the plastic edge cover (a plastic piece that is cover between the space covers) They are old and slightly discolored but can be "cleaned" back to their original dec color by using a formula that can be found on the internet. There is some slight warp on the cover plate, that is only slightly noticeable, but with some careful application of a heat gun can be carefully straightened <<<< NEWThe banner (and added pieces) is sold as-is where-is.
