AN 8 1/2" x 11" PRINT FROM UPPER DECK TITLED 'A CELEBRATION OF EARLY BLACK BASEBALL' HAND SIGNED IN SILVER PEN BY DECEASED BASEBALL HALL OF FAMER--LEON DAY!! DAY, WHO PASSED AWAY IN 1995 LESS THAN A WEEK AFTER BEING ELECTED TO THE HALL OF FAME, WAS A GREAT NEGRO LEAGUES PITCHER!! A 7-TIMES ALL-STAR; HE HOLDS THE NEGRO LEAGUE RECORD FOR 18 STRIKEOUTS IN A SINGLE GAME (INCLUDING 3 AGAINST ROY CAMPANELLA)!! AND ALSO SET THE WINTER BALL PUERTO RICAN LEAGUE RECORD WITH 19 Ks IN A SINGLE GAME!! THIS WAS SIGNED AT A LANCASTER, PA CARD SHOW SHORTLY BEFORE HIS HALL OF FAME ELECTION AND DEATH IN 1995!!
