Pictured is a beautiful whippet (or greyhound) art piece by Cindy A. Conter. This is her "Deco Dog" design done as a low relief sculptured art plaque. This particular piece is finished in a bronze tone, a cold cast bronze, absolutely beautiful. It measures approximately 15" by 8 1/2", a maximum depth of about 3/4". Cindy carved the original piece, created a mold, hand cast it in hydrostone, detailed, then applied a finish. It is ready to hang. It will make a beautiful addition to your whippet or greyhound collection of art. Although Cindy A. Conter is now known for her pewter jewelry creations and unusual paintings, she began her canine art career in the early 70's doing mostly original clay sculptures and lost wax jewelry of sighthounds.
